SKF radial shaft seals

       Radial shaft seals are used between rotating and non-rotating mechanical components (Figure 1). They consist of the following components
 • steel (housing) or elastomer cylindrical outer cladding, it still sealed box shaft hole, and to meet the requirements of the seal in the housing bore interference degree, in favor of correct installation;
 • elastomer sealing lip ring, on the axis of the dynamic and static sealing. Low cross sectional height radial shaft seals

SKF mechanical seals
 
 
     SKF mechanical seals contains two identical seal rings and two similar nitrile rubber Belleville washers. Seal ring wear and corrosion resistant and steel, with a sliding and sealing surface fine finish. Even dilute oil seal, such as SAE 10W40 oils. Nitrile rubber Belleville washers (cup springs) provided between the inner and outer holes necessary uniform face loading and a good seal. Washer diameter and shape of the inner hole with which they are installed and change, no special surface finish requirements.
     SKF mechanical seals as a sealing sleeve assembly may be readily installed to the user. A special seal ring retaining ring surfaces are brought together. This is not only easy to install, but also protects the seal will not be damaged. Retaining ring left in place after installation, at the initial stage of operation to provide additional protection for the sliding surfaces. It will be slowly worn away.
