Merkel Omegat OMS-MR PR

1.Product description
  Two-component Merkel seal set for seal-ing piston rods, consisting of one PTFE profile ring with integrated pressure-relief function and an elastomer ring as pre-load component. Patented product de-sign (patent no.: DE 10117662 CI).

OMS-MR Series. Increased operat-ing reliability of sealing systems with
demanding operating parameters(no continuously pressure build-up in
gap area)
■Extended service life of sealing sys-tems by long-term stability (reduced loading of the sealing system by mini-mised friction and wear).

3.Application
■Primary seal in a sealing system - long-er stroke (greater than 400 mm)
■High stroke speed when piston rod extends (greater than 0,5 m/s)
■High speed differences depending on the direction of movement (V out
greater than 8xV in)
■Fast pressure drop in main area
■Large diameter (greater than 310 mm).
